Holistic Activism for Global Transformation. The work of the activist Michael G Eaglemeare.
The transformation of the global crisis requires a total change of action in the nature of our existence as a whole - personal and global.
The global crisis can only been solved when it is perceived in its totality, and responded to with a holistic action of change.
We can see the different ‘natural’ crisis events, as well as the man made crisis situations, and the responses to those crisis situations. The different forms of crisis are vast, the environemnal crisis, the human rights crisis, the political and economic crises. The root of our crisis is in fact the human condition, it is from there that the reactions and conflicts arise, also it is the human condition that prevents a collective and urgent response to all the global crises.
The world has all the resources and technical skills to solve the global crisis very quickly. It is the human condition that is what prevents that total and urgent response from taking place. It is also the way we live, the condition we are in that has generated the destructive way of living that is destroying each other and the very planet we live upon.
We need to change the human condition and to solve the ‘outer’ different crisis situations that we are in.
When we see that the human condition and the global crises are one movement that includes are own consciousness - then our action is total and holistic as it will include the change in the ‘outer’ and the ‘inner’ as one action. Whatever ‘outer’ action we take in this holistic activism it will include the totality of the very causes of the crisis - our consciusness.
Can we see the crisis as a whole? Can we see that the human condition is the root of the crisis? Can we see that to change consciousness is to change the very nature of our existence and will speed up the changes and responses that are needed?
We need to work together and learn what the reality of ‘holistic activism’ is and put into our lives. Then are actions will be involving a much deeper reality of change that we are used to, then a revolution of impossible change is possible - if we respond to this challenge now.
-
Our relationship together in this work is also revolutionary, there is no 'me' or 'you', it may appear to start out like that, in truth we are all brothers and sisters working together to change and transform humankind. Each person contributes to the whole, each person is equally valid, there are differences, yet when we are free of comparison and discussion then we are working togther.
Can we learn together without competition, comparison and judgement? Can we be open to each other in a deeper way without fear, and listen?
Yes we can, if we see the seriousness of the need for a deeper and siginificant communication and the awakening of an action that is revolutinary and global. The impossible can be achieved.
-
Our work together is sacred, it is dedicated to the transformation of the total global crisis and the awakening of a new way of living for all on this planet.
Our global crisis is personal and global, we are of the world and the world is of ourselves. Our consciousness, relationships and actions make us what we are and collectively make the world what it is.
Our global crisis affects all factors of our existence, economics, politics, ecology, education, health, ‘spiritual’, and so on. The factor of the ‘spiritual’ requires an actual religious life, a life that is dedicated to the transformation of humankind. The ‘spiritual’ has mostly become an activity that is ridiculous, irrelevant, corrupt, and impotent to respond the deeper needs of the world and the total crisis it is in. The organized religions, as well as the New Age Establishment, contribute to the suffering by feeding self concern and an indifference to responding to the challenge of the total action that is required of us at this time of a global complex crisis.
-
Our general sense of a revolution is a political one. Often such political revolutions are useful and well intended. But we can see that the human condition needs to change as well as the outer structure of democracy and freedom. Peoples lives need to have depth and meaning, then we can generate long lasting sustainable change. Each person needs to set themselves free, discover their Divine reality and also discover their role in helping the world transform.
A holistic revolution is not one of ‘spiritual ideas and beliefs’, it is one of actual change and transformation of our very existence and the nature of our actions.
When a person takes responsibility of helping to change the world in this total sense then the quality of their consciousness and being is radicalized.
-
There are many negative realities and activities on our planet, they function through and are within our human condition. Our human condition needs to radicaly change, and then it is not a slave to negative realities and a limited existence within the 'me'.We also need to end the negative manipulations of our global culture and life by a few authoritarian and manically greedy few people. We need to awaken our total and sacred existence that is then holy and of the Divine - that requires us to take a total action for change on the 'inner' and 'outer'.
To understand and free ourselves of our conditioned existence - inwardly and outwardly, requires a total action that is holistic and revolutionary in its nature. Then we shall be able to be free of the inward suffering and limitations, as well as being free of the outer crisis of a destructive way of life that we are creating and also having imposed upon us by a few power hungry people via governments, corporations, financial oganizations and organized religions.
